Another one for the ModCloth contest.

For the ModCloth contest...I hope you all enjoy!
 
I love this set so much because it shows how much I adore vintage. I used to dress in what is considered the popular clothes of today: Abercrombie and Holister. I struggled a lot with who I was, since it was clear I didn't fit in with a lot of the people who wore these clothes, and my personality was very different from theirs. About my freshman year of highschool I knew that I couldn't wear those clothes any longer, that they just weren't me. As soon as I thought that I cleaned out my drawers, dumped my old clothes at the nearest Plato's Closet, and set my mind on finding the clothes that REALLY fit me and my personality.
 
Ever since then, I've haunted the goodwills, vintage shops, and the occasional urban outfitters searching for MY clothes. I've found a lot, and actually discovered a lot about myself in the process. It seems silly, but I've discovered who I really am through the clothes I enjoy.
 
And after I found ModCloth.com, I was ecstatic. Their clothes have always been amazing, and I can't get enough of them. I'm so grateful to all the people who work there for finding these great gems hidden in estate sales, vintage stores, and markets around the world, and hope that they can continue selling them to girls everywhere to encourage them to express themselves without worrying about how other people think of them. Thank you ModCloth!
